@Chris Mason If I moved to the Bay Area I'd only be able to afford a cardboard box, and would have no need to make any phone calls regarding mortgages...as a matter of fact I don't even know if I could afford a phone either.

If any given state attorney general doesn't want to strike a deal and wants to further show the harm bad originations made, perhaps in an effort to increase the idea of damages, that could put all or most of it in review too.I don't know if you saw the other thread where we had some discussion around the concepts of extension risk to lenders and contractual obligations of Mortgagees and Security Issuers as also being potential triggers.
