The PM uses Appfolio and when trying to set up the ACH transfer to deposit rents to a bank account in NY, Appfolio (which is based in CA) stated to my PM that they can not do ACH transfers to NY because of 'NY Banking Laws' but they didn't provide to her further information on that.Has this happened to anyone else whose PMs use Appfolio or other similar app to get deposits from Out of State to NY or any other state?

The head aches involved with (I believe) setting up this way is that separate tax returns need to be filed for each entity established.  

Is the paycheck deposited to a bank account that could have an auto ACH to you on payday?

They had already been fined $260, sent certified notices, and a court was being filed.They claimed they where switching bank accounts and because of that they could not pay rent with cash, check, ACH, or credit card... one quick email to them from the pm saying if they did not pay rent, their car would be towed, we would freeze their accounts, garnish their pay checks, and have the police remove them from the property by force if rent was not paid by 8am the following day did the trick.

Can't tell my mortgage company sorry, but Rentigo is having problems getting ACH to clear.

This can spare me a lot of head aches and surprises in the future.
