Definitely saved a lot of money.

Also, a few private lenders or hard money lenders might have some more creative terms for multifamily, especially if you're open to considering that route.

Private money may be better. 

Plus, if you aren't able to get approved with what you've got now in terms of savings, credit, etc. you can learn on what you need to qualify so you know what to be working towards.
