With respect to your privacy, would you say that there is a sub $100k in your area of NC?  

Building in a downtown area typically involves privacy fencing the entire site, permits for road blockages, fights with neighbors over port-a-potties, and difficulty with noise ordinances. 

I would put up my own fence, make it a privacy fence so hopefully the dogs do not see you/your guests/tenants etc. 

Can we put cameras on the outside of our properties or is that an invasion of privacy?

I have called 5 water companies in California and they all have said privacy laws prevent them from giving me the list.

I love this option, because you can leverage low down payment, get benefits of real estate, learn a lot of valuable RE skills, and can maximize your income with a furnished rental.As a SFH, you could potentially rent out rooms or an additional space out as MTR/STR, but there is potentially less privacy.

A 8 foot trellis or privacy screen should do it. 

I have major privacy concerns with Tenant Cloud as they dont seem to be CA privacy law compliant and most of their team is in Ukraine. 

@Reagan Clo sounds very suspect, especially as it’s usually very easy to check ownership through online public records, unless you own them in a LLC or trust where your name is not in the title, which you usually do for privacy, not to then hand out copies to strangers.
