You could get her to answer the rare phone call for maintenance (or even just pick up messages) while you’re at work and have a good vendor list for her to respond with in terms of electricians, plumbers, handyman, etc.

You’ll need to run a 240v line up there, I dunno if that’s a $2k problem or an $8k problem, talk to a local electrician.

I just got a message tonight that they were having an electrician install a thermostat and they didn't finish the job so there are exposed wires and have to cancel.  

So I would most likely need an electrician on top of the installation fee from the city.
