When I met her I attempted to bond over philosophy (her profession, my major) and mutual social connections - and not let her realize that I have real assets for as long as I possibly could.I must admit I took some evil pleasure in "corrupting" a woman who was practically a communist feminazi professor when I met her - and making her annoyed at herself when she realized that she was just as vulnerable to enjoying a few material pleasures (good wine, nice hotels, skiing, riding in my MBZ instead of her Hyundai) as any other human.I don't see her telling me I should sell our family's ski condo and donate the money to charity!

What i see wherever i go are people trying to better their lives and most people are scared to give up what they know even if its not in their self interest.I want people to get educated I don't care about the words liberal or conservative, socialist, communist or whatever else people want to throw around because those words mean nothing unless they are placed in some context which is often not the case when they are used in america.I hope you see that im here just share my opinions with people i don't expect to change anyone's mind but i think having a civil conversation about the issue's can be more productive.the other day I was listening to the news on t.v. and i heard someone say that when he was on food stamps you didn't see him with his hand out!

Also, socialism and communism are radically different concepts and I know in the US we use them interchangably.But my post was not about politics (we have issues, and so does the rest of the world currently, no matter of capitalist, socialist or communist country - all have the same problems at the moment, interesting to note).
