If so, then the title is clear, absent any local government liens.If you mean you've obtained a Quiet Title order and it is final and non-appealable (42 days after the order is entered) then the title is clear.If you mean you can't find anybody who is still alive, the title is not clear.

The second question is can I charge it to them and at least take it out of the deposit, which was only $600, but at least I only eat $150 at that point.The last question is, the citation said I could appeal.

If you are able to take a default judgment, it will cost around $800 total, and be final and non-appealable in about 2.5 months.
