Secondly, the ability to successfully complete our screening process, which requires tenants to complete an application before looking at our properties is a good indicator that an applicant will make a good tenant-- (we are able to be successful with this requirement because we generally have the nicest properties at a given price point/neighborhood, we offer alternatives for 'less than perfect' credit, and we'll at least listen to the story for tenants with 'issues' (one eviction or criminal offense) and let them know in advance if it's worth their time to apply).

@Kenzie McIlvoyThat is the same for me I require 3x monthly rent based off bank statement the last three months, and credit 600 or higher, no criminal history but we don't care about small things like tickets or similar offenses only major, we'll normally call the landlord they had previously and ask if they'd rent to that tenant again.
