In Memphis, you can't really legally evict someone for having troublesome kids, but if they were multiple noise violations and that tenant is becoming a burden on the peaceful enjoyment of others then maybe you have some room there.

If your rental is in an area that gets a lot of families they may be more concerned.Some tenants (like yours) are going to make a bugaboo over it either due to misinformation/fear, some agenda or just because they have an axe to grind.   

If it's not being monitored it won't do anything if it does go off except make some noise until you can remove the offending alarm pieces and parts.
