Sometimes the owner/s are planning on finishing their flip, sometime this century.

I have to say that even I thought at the time that it was the deal of the century.

Now your neighbor suddenly turns his/her home into a short-term rental because there's no specific zoning law that prohibited it since it wasn't "a thing" before 10-15 years ago, and most zoning laws are a century old or so, and you are expected to live with the aggravation while your former neighbor profits.

I actually think Elon Musk is one of the most brilliant minds of our generation and the history books will look back on him as one of the people who significantly changed transportation in the 21st century.

If you are looking for a (deal of the century) then likely your exchange will fail as would be very hard to find within a set timeline.

Similar to how they benefited during the Dot com bubble at the turn of the century. 

Yeah the project does sound exciting . between the turn of the century and 1930 ish over 2 million lots were created in those two counties those are basically the biggest counties in size in the US.. you see evidence of it.. when you see a MH stuck what looks like in the middles of nowhere but those are all platted parcels..
