It may be quite difficult getting into this at your age, but I have definitely seen a couple 17 and 18 year olds doing very well for themselves, so moral of the story.. times are changing, and age won't matter as long as you can provide VALUE to buyers and sellers.

I do believe that there is an ethical way to negotiate these deals but there seems to be a huge grey area in between a good deal and predatory that is a slippery slope full of moral hazard and profit motive.

I would say if you just have to have a Real estate agent in the family just to allow deals to run smoother enlist a family member for that task or take the class just to boost your knowledge of that side of the business; but the decision is solely up to you as to whether you would still want to sit for the exam afterwards.

Most brokers I'm certain will not allow an agent to use a sale contract to wholesale as is common with newbies.We cannot legislate morality but the courts may apply morale judgment to protect the public and they do.
