I aim to achieve an IRR in the high teens to the investors using very conservative and achievable assumptions, while leaving enough meat on the bone to carve out a promote for doing my part.

I use both and make them wait to the last day for free money, but if you don't payoff the promotions as due, watch out, interest is charged from the day of purchase, so pay it off in full!

I would suggest to promote contraceptives to people who cannot raise their children right (Free condoms perhaps?)

Opting out keeps companies from pulling your credit for promotional purposes.

I do always look to promote my business and if someone does ever get on here from my local area then it'll be great.

But from what I've seen, his biggest crtics seem to be other self proclaimed gurus that are promoting themselves and riding on his name to get found in the search engines.
