Simultaneously we upgraded the partial furnishings that came with the unit.The transformation was tremendous--about 7 years after the building was acquired from a slum lord, after lots of small, carefully-planned steps, the building went from dingy to looking clean and rentable to quality tenants.

But i do alot of work in the Dc area and people are going crazy with inlaw sweets going up floors adding addition to get two extra rooms so they can charge more money after the get the place so do not just look at the property look and see what you can transform it to also.

The atmosphere is especially negative towards any outside investment right now because many neighborhoods that fall in the top end of the low income spectrum are transforming in Chicago@Anthony Gayden That makes me feel even better.
