You are the property owner and you make the rules (within the law), you cannot them misunderstand the situation and think they are calling the shots.

I noticed on another post that there are a lot of misunderstandings regarding the traditional FICO scoring model and it's use for tenant screening.

However, given the 3 decades I've been in this industry I just thought I should put as much as I can out there for all to see in an effort to clear up many of the misnomers and misunderstandings both real estate, construction and the lay person may have developed during the course of their research.

It is not meant to evaluate the cost of money so to suggest so shows you misunderstanding of its use.

I dont think that particular title company i was trying to use knew what they were doing, or maybe it was just a mis-understanding.

If it's a tough area or I'm misunderstanding, though, then I always encourage a 30 year mortgage with a personal goal of repayment within 15 years.
