No doubt even more monies have flowed into LA and other U.S.A. metropolitans, but they have been able to absorb the demand better than Vancouver (here's where the geographical constraints loom large).I still contend that you cannot sustain a local economy when the folks who are the cogs in that machine cannot afford to live in relative proximity to their work.

We own 1 condo and it has been fruitful so far. 

We invest heavily in that region and all the data shows Indiana, Louisville, and the midwest in general to be a fruitful place to continue to invest.

We do not need to go to Mexico anymore, I can avoid the airports, the mountains of stinky seaweed flowing onshore, the machine gun road checkpoints, the scams at the local market, etc. and get in my car and drive to Florida.Unless you travel first class flying is now a truly painful experience.
