If a person passed away, from what I've heard in the state of California, it looks like the family has to wait a mini of 40 days before they can proceed with the estate hearing.If I knew that the person who passed away (Person A) has left the will of the property to one of the family member (Person B).My question are:1) Can I enter into a purchase agreement with Person B prior to the estate hearing with the contingency that Person B inheriting the property?

My current experience has been one where there isn't full disclosure, product and services mini commercials..... things that were never requested have now become the focal point, I'm just super busy right now....yet you offered and insisted you would be a resource, opportunity seekers abound (the conversation was centered around you being an active buyer in the market AND now the conversation is about why you'd make a great JV partner). gurus... just send me x amount of dollars and I can help you, established "good ole boys/girls" cliches.

They are old houses (like everything in New Haven) and no significant deferred maintenance, but things like adding AC/mini splits, parking spaces, in-unit laundry would definitely increase our rents.I'm inclined to grow the number of units first, then renovate as needed to maximize rents later, when we're closer in our lives to using the cash flow for ourselves.My spouse is more inclined to add all the extras to maximize rents now, and go slower buying new properties.Can anyone weigh in on either side?
