So I know how much cash we have and I am securing lines of credit and making contacts and arrangements so that if I need money in a hurry to secure a deal I will either have it or know where to go.I have already begun putting together a team to help me, I have a good contractor, electrician, painter, and real estate agent.

It is More likely for a handyman painter to fall off a ladder than for the house to get destroyed.We require subs to carry WC and liability insurance.

That's what happens with renovation budgets they always seem to go up.Can you reccomend your handyman and or your Painter to us.  

I think wayne made a good point you can do alot by your self but I would maybe get a handy man on your first one to help things go smooth and he would know a good carpet installer painter etc A GC will have it done in record time but the saving want be as great if you do it your self.

I still drive a beater dressed like a homeless construction painter fixing all my own stuff.
