Class A apartments are normally located in area of city closest to best restaurants, shops, etc.

Maybe do a "secret shop" and have a friend or family member call and inquire on the property to see if the PM is easy to get in contact with and set up showings. 

If not, I was thinking of forming a meeting up at a local brewery or coffee shop.

I like this route because I can see their body language, and its easier to gauge the tone of their voice.

I’ve been learning how to do different reno projects from watching and assisting in work being done in my parents house, watching shows on tv to learn some tips, shopping online for materials and learning the costs to get them done and installed, I have created a few extremely detailed budgets to familiarize myself with costs, I’ve studied a few areas I’m interested in and have been following their markets for years, and reading articles on different aspects of the business.

Shop within your credit limit, so to speak.For your investors:"They'll get a higher return due to the lower management fee." 

I know this because we regularly price shop and compare with our competition. 

And be sure to check with folks other than your family banker (where you carry all your accounts) - you'd be surprised how much price / term shopping can save you on each deal.Best of luck to you and I look forward to following your journey!

Next time you shop for a PM make sure you get a NARPM credentialed property manager with lots of experience AND someone who owns rental property themselves. 

This is actually a sign of a growing stronger economy.I would suggest you shop around at different banks.
