Turns out if you nail every shingle 2 inches high, they eventually fall off.

In freeze thaw locations with high clay soil, you can get as much as one inch gap between the outside wall and the soil all around the foundation. 

Put a good 4 inch long scratch in it.

How would you go about fixing laminate flooring that was cut unevenly by corners and cut short by the drywall (some are short about a few cm to 2 inches)

I have one that we solved 90% of the issue just by changing some downspouts. but with a several inch rain storm there’s a lot of water in the basement, so we are getting interior drain tile and sump installed.

I heard water running and went into the basement where the squatter had broken a pipe and water was gushing out and was already a few inches high.

The basement is unfinished and consists of a concrete floor,  There was about an inch of water when we saw it this weekend.  

Felt like I had maybe 4-5 inches above my head(im 6 feet with shoes).

Then one day it rained for 24 hours and we got like 6 inches.

There is a definite slant to the building in which the center windows on the top two floors have about a an inch difference in the gap between the window and window seal.
