I honestly wouldn't waste my time with individual investors.

I suspect that this lady may be involved in the scam and then takes a cut of any money wired to the supposed lender. 

I have 9 doors in Denver/WI and have done short term, medium term, long term, rent by the room and I’m currently house hacking while renting out my basement and cut my mortgage in half.

It cost about 1000 to get it cut.

That’s what freedom feels like to me.You disagreed with my statement "cashflow is useless until retirement" statement because you can use it for unemployment or other investment opportunities.So if you become unemployed and your minscual $1000 isn't cutting it, that's because you took 250k and locked it up.

I will broadly hint that they do not qualify, and it would be a  waste of time and money.Sometimes you will get someone who is just too naive to realize that they simply cannot afford my apartments -- I hate taking their money to run a credit/criminal/eviction when you know they will not qualify, but I don't want to violate Fair Housing.

INSTEAD we ended up spending HOURS on the phone with EVOLVE over multiple failures to deliver, incidents with destructive rowdy underaged guests, and now EXTORTED FEES for cutting bait.
