I've tried to do a search online for books on the characteristics of a building in terms of design, architecture, and construction i.e. what is a parapet, what are the different types of doors (double-hinged, storefront glass), what are the available roof systems, what is a knee-wall, what are the different styles of flooring, the differing fixtures and fascias, etc...

Next just click on any property listed Scroll down until you find the "Housing Information" section and click on "View Now" (<--- just an example of what info will come up) next to "Characteristics:"You'll find SO SO SO much excellent info about that Zip Code, you can even run side by side stats on another Zip Code as well with the "Comparative Community Overview" link at the top..

Grass and weeds tend to grow in between pavers, you need to shovel and salt in the winter (especially in Chicago) and due to the freeze-thaw cycle the pavers tend to creep, move, bend and look unsightly after a short time (the frozen water expands, shifting the pavers around and out of alignment during the winter) All-in-all, I would imagine its a bit of a hassle, especially if people tend to enter through the garage.
