Like all world class cities, Barcelona is bloody expensive and finding a decent rental yield anywhere will be extremely difficult.

I like this method because for most of the large cities, demand for housing in the downtown, high-rise areas remains very strong, and they have now generated a massive influx of capital they can use to take advantage of a short-term blip or screaming deals that come their way.

In my opinion, if you think you've got just a screaming deal it might be worth it to send in an LOI and make the $4-500 bet and get an appraisal done on your own.
