My husband and I, who live in CA,  are deciding on buying an investment property but we are also taking into consideration my mother, who we currently help with rent down in Lake Nona.

This isn't California! 

Placer County on the CA side has a cap but hasn't hit it.Forward looking occupancy in my north Tahoe comp set of ~100 properties is up 15-20% YoY. 

But State Farm no longer accepts new insurance in California.

The property is in alabama and I am in California.

Hello, I currently live in California and have been successfully managing my multiple properties in the Frisco (Texas) area for the last 3 years.

I'm excited to be part of the community.  Hoping to make some life long connections.   

I have family in Raleigh, wife and I can't afford where we live in LA, CA so we're looking for an investment property elsewhere to get into some RE while we keep renting in CA, and Raleigh has that familial connection--who knows, maybe we'll move there but assuming we won't for this decision.
