My advice is to think about everything that could possibly be involved with building/operating a tiny house village and investigate costs, rules, regs, etc.

Mercer University has changed alot of the 31201 area and transformed it into Mercer Village.

I just thought it was common practice or required by the village?

The SFR is across the street from student housing called Laker Village.

I started in the business In Columbus Ohio and my first houses were Outside German village and In Victorian village, both completely gentrified former slum areas.

I don't know your budget but Charles Village has good amount of Multi Family housing, nice location, walkable, you just need to spend way more than 100K, or if you go north, there are nicer areas.All you need to do is to spend more than average out of state investor.

I'm about to buy a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom  in Locust Lake Village for short-term rentals (Airbnb).

It's a Duplex.....3/1 on each unit in Slavic Village in the 44105 Zip Code. 

I am meeting with the village this afternoon to see exactly what they will need for the permit application.
