I understand that one doesn’t necessarily need a college degree, however, in order to satisfy my airline pilot career I need a bachelor’s degree.

While most people attend a university to become better suited for a job, these days most jobs require a 4 year degree to prove that someone was able to start and finish something successfully.

Hey everyone,Using the template,Our Story/Goals: I am a recent Graduate with a Civil Engineering degree and a job i have been at for about a year for a large asphalt laving contractor in the state of Wisconsin.

I have a bachelors degree in business and finance with a focus in investment real estate, plus many years in the building trades.

@Jay Hinrichs it’s funny that half the folks in this thread know this was common practice and still occurs to a lesser degree.

It is sort of complicated, but then again I have friends with graduate degrees that have bought and sold houses that still don't understand how the fee works I get paid, how the fee works, how a procuring agent is used, how it is split, how the broker takes a cut, that I don't work on salary etc. etc.Wholesaling alone isn't exactly easy for some to understand to go to a seller, say I am going to buy your house in cash, sign a contract, then re-assign that contract and possibly reassign it again. 

Full disclosure…although my degree was in accounting 30 years ago, I have never practiced as an accountant.

We're getting paid nicely, but they have created many nuisance violations, overheat the place to 80 degrees by using space heaters, even though there is perfectly adequate and working gas baseboard hot water heat, thus blowing circuits in a 120 yr old multi building, and calling us in the middle of the night to come reset a breaker because they don't have power in part of the unit, for having overloaded the circuit with space heaters. 

I am a student finishing up my undergraduate degree this year, and I will be relocating from Philadelphia, PA to Boston, MA this summer.

(I've got a degree in that!)
