If I decide to pay so that they go then no one else knows.The other pitfall with apartment buildings is that when you decide to sell you are limited to selling to hard nosed landlords who will beat you down on price.

I should add, like others have stated, that like the second hand contact/inhalation of cigarette carcinogens, the ingestion of toxic spores would take quite some time to genuinely make you ill, aside from maybe a little runny nose or small headache...which brings me back full circle to the "myriad of other illnesses."

@Ryan Fernholz @Thomas HickeyI just got sued( letter from tenant lawyer ) for this same exact problem, tenant attorney letter claim handrail was broken and stairs slope too steep...cause multiple injuries including fracture to arm.
