For new investors watching this thread, this drives home an excellent point of follow up on your due diligence checklist, exercising your contingencies to get action (don't get pressured that a contingency doesn't need to be followed), and getting an Estoppel Agreement signed by the landlord and tenant confirming the terms of the lease.
