It just seemed to me there was some ways we could do this that would keep residents safe, avoid bankrupting investors and keep affordable housing options open for people.I will say with 4 city council members being arrested by the FBI today on bribery charges after a 2-year investigation and two of those individuals being the ones to really push for this law that it may be delayed for a long time, but time will tell what happens next.

ThenGet the trustee that want's the security deposit back to have his bankrupt client sign they vacated the unit,and current tenant sign that they acknowledge also, and they agree for security deposit to be sent to bankrupt tenant.

I had one just over 740 fico who had over $100k in revolving debt, and when I reviewed bank statement and income I noticed things didn't add up so i asked and applicant confirmed she was bankrupt, had been using 1 card to pay on another for months and was just about to file BK because there is no way could ever pay it off, but "don't worry, I will always pay rent, I won't pay the other bills but I'll pay rent" lol.
