There's a building I'm interested in here with identical specs but it's vacant so would require some build out.

I also came to know that the house has had a theft claim in the past.

He sent his own notice of breach (which was almost identical to the one we had already sent) and waited another 30 days to proceed to the court filings.

It needs a new roof and is vacant at this point but I own a identical triplex next door so I am confident in the purchase due to how well things went with the one I own now(that property cashflows $850/month which I paid 21k). 

The 2 I got were in an older neighborhood built in the 50s, no A/C, VA floor tiles, all identical, 936SF, etc. 

It's pretty cut and dry.Sneaking off to the bathroom or break room to take calls, using your employer's internet that they pay for, printing out personal documents and copies, are all forms of theft and quickly degrade you in the eyes of your boss.Again, sorry to be harsh but I've run a business and let employees go who decide that their outside interests take precedence over the time I am paying them for.

and you, as the responsible adult, knew about the theft and did nothing about it?

I can only tell you from personal experience that I wasted many hours of my life looking at properties and listening to "gurus" because I did not have an identity. 

A kitchen, two bedrooms and a bath identically laid out on both floors.
