I could see someone making that argument... but enough so to claim one is "retired" while the other isn't simply because of that increased effort... nah.Unless your retirement plan consists of cashing social security checks and praying that deposit lasts until the next one hits... or dwindling down of a nest egg of cash... there's always going to be a money management aspect to retirement.

Buy the house, Reno then Rent out, or Rent out 2/4 units, move into 1, while you move tenants around to renovate the others etc.In our situation, I am trying to have a nest of funds available so I can start.

I use cielo breeze to lock the settings so it cannot go below 73 degrees.I can see the settings on my phone so I know what's going on.I use Two Nest for the main units "Best upgrade I ever made"The two main air handler units are used very little now,, where they use to run almost constantly.
