Force them to install/maintain skirting, paint and repair the exterior of the homes and clean up their lots.

It’s immaculately clean, paint/trim is fresh, new appliances, new fixtures, new carpet/floors.

I currently own my home in Roeland Park, 2 bed 1 bath, large back yard, am in the process of renovating the kitchen(painted cabinets, new back splash, new counter top.What are your thoughts on if it would be a better move to sell and invest the proceeds or try to rent it. 

As I continue to search for a general contractor I’ll let you know if any have experience with external paint 

Clearly big things can pop up but to begin I will not be seeking major rehabs aside from floors, paint and rehab of bath and kitchen. 

Our house has been updated over the years of living there(all new paint, re did bathroom, granite counters, new carpet) so my question is do we try and sell at a higher mark and cash in on our house and put some in to the new house to build equity and reinvest to a rental or do we keep our old house as a rental, which would be the nicest rental in the area?

It's also a very old house with a few "classic" problems (asbestos, lead paint, etc.). 

Kitchen and existing bathroom remodel, new master bath, new attached garage, flooring, lighting, patch/paint etc.

Our family business does flooring, cabinets and paint so we have pretty accurate numbers down.

Paint, new appliances in kitchen, flooring (fake wood) etc.
