@Scott Trench I think he has you confused with Account Closed  who boasts a long term 20% ROR.At least that's how I read it.

If a private company could boast such a track record they would be considered a gold standard but I digress.As far as the side stool argument goes of good ole tax payer dollars 'paying' for the two to make their mortgages with the guarantees.  

I would put more credence in the first guy... ask him why he likes the house so much... could be ultra convenient to his work, or kids school, ex, etc.

And in the recent low interest rate environment there has been an increasing lack of apartments available for jeonse renting, as landlords don't want to receive the jeonse deposit and put that into ultra low returning investments.

Hi All , I would like to share with you my story and my future plan in order to get feedback on it's feasibility.In the past 10 years i was working ultra hard saving every $ and now some things happened and i forced to resigned from the place that i was working in the last 10 years.

I don't dress that way or have a ultra fancy car because that's not who I am and don't feel like I need it.

Doors and trim can go ultra pure white to add pop. 

In an ultra hot market if a property is priced in the bottom 50% of listings and shows the best then sure you might get it sold FSBO.

I'm ultra conservative, and I still feel that there is a shortage in most areas of the country of Class B apartments for working class Americans.  

So more than likely a Heloc is the better option for a short term need (6-12 months) whereas an equity loan is more than likely the better option for a long term need (buy/hold) unless you can pay off/down a Heloc ultra fast (ie in 2 years).
