The first thing I would recommend is watch all the podcasts on the BRRRR strategy. 

I've "known people" to fly home from overseas with two watches,  bought in Singapore that were over the limit.

Too true @Gary Ennis, we have wedding pictures showing neighbors leaning out of their 2nd story windows to watch our wedding!!!
