Especially as you mentioned your rentals are on Vancouver Island.... we rarely drop below freezing... ( had our first snow fall of the year today, maybe 1/4’inch) 😛Anyways, baseboard gives them control over their own heat.

My hometown in Texas has over 24 inches annual rainfall and where I live now - also in Texas - has about 44 inches annually, which feels like a lot to me.
