Many years ago on a planet far, far, away, I was a tax accountant.  

I’m pretty sure most of everyone on this planet has some sort of tattoo on their body.

Hopefully they correct this stance when they see rents rising to compensate rent collection averages or when they see a wave of investors exiting the asset class looking for greener pastures (but unlikely).

It is like getting the stars and planets to line up.  

Hello Everyone,I live in West Palm Beach and with my wife we want to start buying real estate ( multifamily) or at least something but we don’t know where as the market is pretty high right now and we don’t like so much this part of Florida except for Palm Beach but it is very expensive and little boring for us.We are willing to relocate pretty much anywhere but we don’t know where as you always looking for greener grass.

This can be done from anywhere on the planet.

well I am not there personally,  but have flown into the area a bunch.. you could not pick one of the prettier spots on the planet thats for sure.. lots of so CAL summer folks ..

So, to me what makes no sense is going half way around the nation or more looking for greener grass on the other side of the fence when the grass is plenty green in your own backyard, where you are familiar and have complete control and opportunity to learn this business hands on, which is the best by far and lowest risk way to learn.

Its true that no matter what I am doing to make a living, I want to give back to society and to the planet, and try to leave the world better for my efforts.  

Vancouver is already the second least affordable market on the planet (next to Hong Kong) with housing prices average 11+ times household income.While it is likely the market in Vancouver will not post the year-over-year price increases in 2015 that it did in 2014, the reality is that prices need to start declining (or incomes increasing dramatically) to avert a housing crises.Over here on the other end of the country, you can thank the Maritimes for holding the Canadian housing price average to just 5.7 times household income.
