Hi, fellow STR investorsAs there are many small projects on maintaining short-term properties, I wonder how you all pay your handymen on these projects, such as assembling furnitures, fixing a drawer, etc..I am trying to estimate the number of hours required to finish the task and pay them by hours ($30/h in Georgia).

you have to have the abundance mindset and to help people first and not you need to make money first.I'd recommend investing in a 2-4 unit with an FHA, live in one unit and rent the others, get cash flow and save up and use minimum financing 3-5% on good cash flowing rentals that are very similar so you can take one expense/blueprint and reapply it almost like a assembly line.

All the furniture items can be shipped to the property and you may need to hire friends or college kids to assemble furniture or meet the delivery people (that takes the most time) If you took some time and got the major pieces in place, a friend with the "decorating gene" could fill in with reasonably priced decor from my favorite stores TJ Maxx or Homegoods with a modest budget.
