Our residents work at Starbucks, Snorkel Bob's, Walmart, etc.  

I lived like a hermit, worked 60+ hours a week, knocked out my bad debt, saved a chunk of change and jumped into it.The biggest thing I did though was I stopped making excuses. 10 years ago I was working at wal-mart and barely getting by.

It is a desirable area with excellent schools, desirable shopping (Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Walmart etc) and is growing fast.

Linens and utensils come from Wal Mart. 

Wal mart has old ladies at the front not because they are going to scream the loudest when you steal, but when they greet everyone, theft goes down.

With Walmart distribution center opening soon as well as the same for Amazon and another Airbus type company coming in (partnering with Airbus???)

Buy a $10 coffee maker at Walmart and make your own coffee.it is extremely important to live below your means.While I would say this as "spend less than you make" this is the absolute key practice to accumulate any wealth. 

I would say each property is 10-30 minutes from a Walmart or movie theater.

We're on the transitioning areas..... though Trader Joe's.... lol and targets rather than Walmart/dollar general.

Sure, walmart is one of the largest employers in the country and retail is one of the largest employers nationwide.
