Hello sir.I used to work with a property management company, in property sign-ups.Most of our clients that I would meet were folks that owned at least a few properties and wanted to see what all the hype was about with PM.  

The idea that real estate or any other business can spin off lots of cash with no investment of time or money is guru hype.

At least this was a more honest approach to ask.I could write a book, I'm sure, about RE gurus and the scam/hype involved, but I won't.Being able to make money in RE does not make one an expert in RE!

If you guys haven't seen or read about the growing bubble, this is a great read (and vid reference) on the actual experience in the so cal market (san diego in this vid) - Jim the Realtor is a great watch :)

Yes - I'd be interested in a BP meetup... sick of the hype at the REIA.  

I've read a lot of hype surrounding Vegas and the Phoenix areas.

It's good to push on deals when you're close, but it's not good to take a lousy deal out of hype.

However, it seems the project is delayed and the developer has a reputation for hyping up projects and not actually following through.  

A while back I was getting all of the hype on "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and went out and bought his books.
