For future referece, if there's an issue that makes the property uninhabitable, you should put your tenant up in a hotel or airbnb wihle it's getting fixed and they still pay you rent according to your lease.

Agree with others to have them contact their insurance agent as well to see what benefits may be available, and landlords should do the same.Large corporate landlords offer and pay for hotels in our area when something prevents a unit from being fully functional (flood, fire, meeting definition of uninhabitable).
