Seek out someone who is and shares your vision, and screen for agents that work with expired listings since that is what you personally want to work on (note that this is a tough market and takes a thick skinned agent and not all will do this as a result).

Guard's mobile command center on Rockaway beach) and I would do it in a heartbeat, even after being in the thick of it here now.Frankly I'm thinking of getting into some of the properties that were damaged by the hurricane and remodeling them into luxury homes with systems set up to keep the house running during hurricanes, flooding, etc....

Might have missed my point, the listing agent will have experience and they are not working at all for you, their goal is still the highest price and quickest done deal.I agree, get an agent on your side that has experience in REOs, one with thick skin who chews on raw meat!

For the walls and ceiling before we painted we used TSP cleaner you should be able to find it at Home Depot, it is very strong so you should plan on wearing thick rubber gloves.
