throw a few bucks his way, make it worth it. show him that the title company has him listed as the sole heir and sometimes the city will tag the sole heir as the responsible party for the overdue bills. show him that you are willing and able to take responsibility for the overdue bills and get those off his back and still throw him some money on top of it. ask him if there is anything he has always wanted to buy. a play station 4, a big screen tv. everybody dreams of something. tell him you will give him the money to get something he has always wanted. you will be amazed at how fast people get interested in money. ask him this. " if you suddenly found out that your dad had a safety deposit box and the local bank, would your *** be down there looking to find out what was in it"?

@Justin Webb - How much longer will you be stationed in Florida?

I am not endorsing these in particular, but there are condos close to metro stations in Temple Hills then out on following the Blue line for like $30,000 or $40,000.

I haven't used him (yet, but only because my own paperwork is not in order), but I've heard nothing but good things about Saranto Calamas out in Port Jefferson Station.

I'm stationed here at Fort Bragg.

I do not currently live in central Texas, but I was stationed there while in the military. 

We buy a house at every duty station possible along with pure rentals.

I think to keep investment costs down I could even find properties in the cities near a farther-away T station so folks can commute without a car.
