I am wondering how the experienced investors out there weigh's in on joining the local REIA organizations.

Just joined this forum last week and finding it super insightful.My offer on a home just got accepted last night and was looking for any advice from seasoned investors - I have 10 days from now to do an inspection and finalize everything so I wanted to ask if there were any red flags before I go all in.The home is 190k, 7.5% interest rate, 30 year mortage. 

Join a brokerage, hustle on cold calls and door knocking. 

Answer the questions that are part of the request to join.

I love real estate and I am excited to join this community as a new investor.

There can be big costs to join this group, but if you follow the system and need a lot of mentorship, it might be worth the investment.

I have joined my local REIA and will be attending meetings next month, I have a relationship with an individual I trust (an older relative) who has offered about 150-180k to invest with me for my first deal(s) at a reasonable return, and I have started analyzing deals.

But, I am always looking into good deals and hoping to find a group here in Dallas to join and connect with.
