While I manage 65 or so units and we allow the owners to make that decision, I also own quite a few units myself. 

If during the quiet title process the original owner comes up with the $5k for the taxes then she can get it back and we’re out $35k.

If it is a trimmed down option agreement, do we then enter into a full PSA with the property owner?
