Be prepared to answer a lot of tough questions about the risks and the process in general.On the plus side, having to pay cash and be at the auction in person usually roots out the "know nothing" buyers that drive prices up.

And having had to hydroblast roots out, about $3k expense, and then the pipe likes to collapse, so you can often be in about $10k+ for a full repipe to the street, plus landscaping repair on top of that.Foundation can also get pretty pricey.At the end of the day, having done 8 flips, I still think of them as if I can make money, and learn something, I am doing well.

STRs have always been and will always be the scapegoat that is easiest to prey upon, but they're not the root of the problem, in my opinion.  

It was great.Now, suddenly, when I click "read the article" in an email, I'm taken to a login screen, and after that, I land on the home page, left to root around hoping to find the article I'd clicked on.
