Since 2020 me and my fiancé have been learning so much from BP and other sources as well as sacrificing a lot as for far as short term experiences and pleasures .

@Jeffrey Muth JrI think the behavior of putting money away and sacrificing now for long term is probably the greatest benefit.

It isn’t the most ideal living situation but a couple years of living frugally and sacrificing can set you up for financial freedom. 

So power those bad boys down without sacrificing your reserves. 

This can drive up price …In most markets you have a balance of appreciation vs cash flow and you are usually sacrificing one for another…however not in all cases as the goal is to find markets with healthy amount of both! 

Thinking how my parents sacrificed everything so I could get a solid education without having to work a day during college because I was nose deep in Complex equations  of linear and nonlinear thermodynamics and chaotic flows", and couldn't sacrifice the time to work while studying!

I'm not saying that anyone deserves poverty, and who knows what extraordinary challenges an individual might have faced in their lifetime, but in the U.S. poverty often represents the summation of an individual lifetime of choices and is does not always reflect the presence of insurmountable obstacles.This decision is yours to make because you have sacrificed to put yourself in the position that you have.

As you mentioned at some point small multi family  values are determined by cash flow and you will be buying and selling from an investor, ad that is why we sold.I will say, not knowing your situation, what worked out for us as we started our REI journey is we sacrificed and lived in our first few properties before renting them out behind us. 

My mother sacrificed her time and money working to put me into a school (that we couldn't afford without the generosity of others) where I was able to see what real wealth was and more importantly see how real wealth can help change the lives of others.

I am sacrificing probably 10 years of my life to do this the right way, and hopefully I get to live the rest of my life the way I want to, financially free.
