This popular advice really irks me.

I am looking to progress my real estate investing career in a responsible and timely way, and it has been hard to save money for my next property while paying this much for my current property.

I know, nitpicky, but if you have a chance. might as well make it perfect :-)Be patient, if your area is a popular one, you will definitely fill up and stay full.

If anyone has a mastermind group that's really helped them progress, and they are open to new members and you're very comfortable 'vouching' for them, please message me.

Have you been able to make any progress in Albany or the surrounding areas?

I have two 3 bedroom places, mostly families coming in so those romantic packages wouldnt be that popular.

On the upside, they have a new investor portal which where you can view documents (like monthly reports/inspections by Aloha) and data on construction progress and returns.  

There seems to be a bit of hostility here from the contractors, and this was really just a question so I could better understand and more easily work with contractors.This question was for a first-time encounter with a new contractor not recommended to me by anyone I know.I am happy to give weekly checks for progress, purchase all materials upfront including all the fittings, nails, caulk, and whatever else the contractor chooses.

Will be seeing how things progress from here.
