Evictions are inevitable even for the best of landlords  but can often drag on for the better part of a year in places like NYC.

these numbers don't work for cashflow....doesn't matter if you get the property with nothing down...if you lose money each month, it's still gonna be a drag on you..i bought a few places sub2 a while back and have regretted them bc the seller owed too much on them..at the time i was eager to expand my portfolio, and loved the thought of owning property with no money down...i more or less break even on them..some months i have to pay into them..better ways to spend my time...learn from my mistake :)

Overall, more generations living together helps keep people from financial ruin and being a drag on the economy in the form of entitlements.

Otherwise your job would drag on forever.

Anyway, sorry to drag on about this, I just think you might appreciate a different mindset going into this acquisition that might allow you to see more buying opportunities then obstacles. 

But my primary is a drag on most of my plans.

I do NOT want to take anything to court and simply want to move on with our lives, but this continues to drag on.  

For this specific item, that Advisor would take point in negotiations, and there is no way it would drag on for 18months that's nutz.
