I will be meeting a couple of the guys on an upcoming trip to Belize on a Cacao Farm Tour (BCC). 

I wonder if anyone can give me your feedback on umbrella insurance State Farm called me and told me that I should open a umbrella policy for my rental properties 

Galena and Door County are  possibilities, as is Rochester Mn which is fairly close to our farm in Iowa.

Since I've been told the insurance market is really tough right now in California with most of the big companies (Nationwide, Allstate, State Farm)  not writing new policies to new customers, I'm trying to do a change of broker to a different Safeco agent.

I guarantee it will deflate again, as it always has in past, or at least go flat for 10-20 years until incomes catch up.

I farmed the my portfolio in that region to a bunch of agents; and when I got an offer I was happy with I sent it to my CPA so he could run numbers and let me know what total effective taxes I would be paying after Cap Gains and depreciation recapture.  

@Rommel Pascual I believe Farm Credit would do this type of loan.

Their only product line left is farm/ranch.

But start small and don't bet the farm.

All farm mortgages I have found require 20% down and I cannot afford that right now.
