Anyway, I don't see why the 4S and Siri merit a special warning...?

It is more of a cosmetic thing and a make you feel good sort of idea opposed to something that has real legal merit.

I am going post this one and it's going to be long (sorry in advance).When reading the discussion, I think it is devolving into debating the merits of apples, oranges, bananas and grapes all at the same time.

Understanding how those fees apply to the deal and the needed vendors will help judge the merit of the fee.

I still think there is merit to my statement as I think the risk comfort is coming around for the local folks but it is not wide spread like RE.

Most people don't use it because on the policy's own merit the returns are low, BUT I had learned the strategy from the builder to borrow the money out at a low rate from your policy and invest in something in a higher rate so it buys the insurance for free and you make a profit.

Seriously though, the idea has merit, but keep in mind- FAIR HOUSING does apply.

If and only if the deal passes this initial screening does it merit a closer look.

While I suspect Fannie Mae and the banks would do a poor job of property management and landlording, I see merit to this idea.

Seems the man already has the DA stating that it was without merit.
