Too much kills it with fungus and infestation. 

When we took over the units were worn and infested with bed bugs.

You could run into critter infestations, plumbing and electrical issues as well.

Thanks for weighing in, always appreciatedAS long as they are not creating infestations and Mold and are just normal tenants. you know mattress on the floor  cloths heaped in a pile in the corner  one couch one big screen and maybe a table to eat on.. but no bugs or mold then thats the main issue I think 

I had pest control on 3 houses, only when they move out-- tenants never let them in, so it was a crazy mice infestation and another was a really bad roach problem! 

And in the lease, it states that “the tenant is responsible for pest control costs if it is determined that they are the cause of the infestation” but being that’s haven’t moved in yet it should also be free of charge.

.- Getting rid of any infestation.

Others will use bathtubs for laundry or for cleaning out cooking equipment because they don't like the size of the sink.Married student housing is notorious for being infested with cockroaches and rodents for a reason, and it's not because the universities don't care.
